Pascaline Lepeltier, Boërl & Kroff, Maximilian Riedel, Wine Scholar Guild to Support a Legendary Burgundy Tasting at Bonhams NYC on May 6th, Led by Jancis Robinson for the Gérard Basset Foundation
The Gérard Basset Foundation is delighted to announce the support of Pascaline Lepeltier, Champagne Boërl & Kroff, Maximilian Riedel, and Wine Scholar Guild for their upcoming sit down tutored tasting of some of the greatest wines from Burgundy, led by Jancis Robinson, taking place on Monday May 6th at Bonhams on Madison Avenue in New York. The exact Burgundian producers and the specific wines to be served on May 6th (as well as the ticket price) will be announced on March 29th, the same day that tickets go on sale. Only 70 seats will be available!
World-renowned sommelier Pascaline Lepeltier has generously agreed to serve as the head sommelier for the event and says: “It is truly an honour to support the legacy and vision of the incredible Gérard Basset, a mentor and a beacon for so many of us in the business. Champagne Boërl & Kroff will be donating a collection of extremely rare magnums of Boërl & Kroff Vintage 1998 to be enjoyed on May 6th prior to the sit-down tutored Burgundy tasting led by Jancis Robinson. Owner Stéphane Sésé, who will attend the event in person, added: “Champagne Boërl & Kroff is very happy to support this incredible evening dedicated to the wines of Burgundy.
