Daria Antonenko

Before the war, Daria was developing her career in the Ukrainian wine sector, working with producers, curating wine selections, and actively engaging with local wine education and culture. When the war began, everything changed. She had to leave her home, her community, and the professional world which she was part of. Since relocating to London, Daria has been rebuilding her path from the ground up. In 2025, while living and working in the UK, she completed the WSET Diploma - an achievement that became both a personal anchor and a professional breakthrough during an uncertain time. Education has always been at the heart of how Daria grows, adapts, and contributes. Receiving the Artémis Domaines Golden Vines® Victims of Conflict Scholarship means more than support - it’s recognition, trust, and the opening of a new chapter. The scholarship allows Daria to deepen her understanding of wine not just through books, but through hands-on work, physical effort, and immersion in one of the most respected winemaking teams in the world. This experience will be invaluable as she looks to remain in the production side of the industry long-term. Daria’s goal is to combine this first-hand winemaking experience with her background in the commercial and educational side of wine.
